My First Maths Book - the perfect resource to support your child's first steps into the world of mathematics! Designed to align with the Reception curriculum, this interactive book focuses on essential early maths skills in a fun and engaging way.

What's inside?

• 'Maths About Me' - a page dedicated to learning numbers important to your child. 
• Numbers 1-10 - one page dedicated to each number. Children will develop a variety of skills to deepen their knowledge of each number including use of a tens frame, doubling, one more/less and composition (part/whole model). 
• Numbers 11-20 - children wil learn to write these numbers, count and draw. 
• Simple addition and subtraction using pictures to support
• Number bonds to 5 and 10
• 2D Shapes - circle, triangle, square, rectangle, pentagon and hexagon. Children will learn the properties of these shapes, recognise them in different contexts and use them in problem solving activities.
